Artist's Comments
This picture was Taken in Louisville, Kentucky in 2001. We were there to spend time with my uncle who was dying from ALS. I know they quality isn't the best but I have always liked this picture. At the time I was trying to recreate some of his best photos. However in this picture the angle is off and there is a pole in it that could have been left out. May some day I will go bank and take the kids but right now it will bring back too many memories of summers past with family no longer alive.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
